Stunning silver and yellow enamel Trinket Box hallmarked Birmingham 1918 by Lawrence Emanuel
A lovely guilloche enamel and silver Trinket Box. The box is a lovely circular shape and stands on three attactively decorated feet. Hallmarks are visible on one side of the box for the Birmigham Assay office with a date mark for 1918 and Lion Passant indicating sterling silver. The silvermaker's mark is also visible for Lawrence Emanuel. The circular silver top is coated in the most beautiful vivid yellow enamel in a delectable star burst design, giving it a 3d effect. The pull off top also bears partial hallmarks to the underside.
The colour of the enamel is utterly stunning!
Condition: There is some slight same to a small area of the edge of the pot top (see images for verification). The silverware is in good order however has some small dings to the base undearneath.
